Communications Director of Great Olympics, Saint Osei has revealed how the dressing room of the team was affected when ex-Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu was playing for the side.

According to him, a decision by the experienced midfielder to pick and choose which matches he will play did not go down well with the players.

Speaking to Max FM, Saint Osei disclosed that it resulted in a player revolt.

“Agyeman-Badu was picking and choosing the matches he wanted to play. Agyemang-Badu chose to play Kotoko because it is a big club.

“There was a player revolt because he was picking and choosing the matches he wanted to play,” Saint Osei disclosed.

Even before this was shared by the Great Olympics spokespersons, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu had earlier this year in February indicated that he was pushed out of the club because of club CEO Oloboi Commodore.

“Oloboi Commodore, the CEO, is the one behind my reason to quit the club. The decision by the coach to keep me playing cost him his job, and this has been confirmed by four members of the technical team,” Badu explained in an interview.

Meanwhile, the former FIFA U20 World Cup winner has indicated that he will at the end of the season address all the issues he encountered at the club.
