Pogba pleads with Man Utd boss Mourinho to rejig midfield structure

Manchester United ace Paul Pogba has pleaded with manager Jose Mourinho to rejig his midfield structure.

Pogba was hauled off during last weekend's defeat at Newcastle having been dropped the previous week for the home win over Huddersfield.

The Daily Record says the 24-year-old is unhappy with the amount of defensive work he's being asked to do.

Pogba wants to play on the left of a midfield three, giving him licence to drive forward and attack.

Mourinho prefers to play a rigid 4-2-3-1 formation and insists that Pogba has the physical attributes to excel in a deeper midfield role.
