Bruno Martins-Indi is playing hardball with Porto in order to seal a transfer to Stoke City, according to reports from The Sentinel.

Martins-Indi enjoyed a very fruitful loan spell at Stoke City last term and while the Potters are keen on signing the Dutch international on a permanent basis this summer, they have failed to do till now so due to Porto's high asking price of the player.

Martins-Indi is desperate to join Stoke and according to reports emerging out of England, it can be revealed that the 25-year-old is threatening to see out the final year of his contract at Porto if they refuse to sell him at a reasonable price to Stoke City.

This scenario would entail a huge financial loss for the Portuguese giants.
