Head coach of ASEC Mimosa, Julien Chevalier has indicated his team’s readiness to face off with Asante Kotoko in the 2024 President Cup.
The Ivorian club has arrived in Ghana to take on the Ghana Premier League giants in the game scheduled to be played in honour of former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
Speaking to Akoma FM in an interview, ASEC Mimosa head coach Julien Chevalier said his team aims to lift the trophy.
“We are glad to be here to honour this ceremonial work even though we were late to arrive. We will work to win the trophy and maintain our perfect record,” Coach Julien Chevalier said.
The President’s Cup between Asante Kotoko and ASEC Mimosa will be played on Tuesday, March 5.
The game will kick off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium at 4 pm.
The game will be officiated by Kouassi Attisso Attiogbe.
The Togolese Referee will be assisted by his compatriots Adiwotso Komlan and Kpelafia Abdou with Ghana's Julian Nunoo as the fourth official.
Mr. Frederick Pappoe will be the Match Commissioner for the match.
