Qatar to use some World Cup players for Ghana friendly in Austria

Qatar, the World Cup hosts, use several of its regular players for an international friendly against Ghana later this month.

Qatar will take on the Black Galaxies of Ghana, Reggae Boyz of Jamaica, and Morocco in the Austria Mini Football Tournament.

Because the competition will be contested outside of the international window, Qatar will have the benefit of fielding a quality squad, with the majority of its players coming from the Qatari Stars League.

The competition will be hosted at Austria's Ernst-Happel-Stadion.

The Black Galaxies will face Jamaica first, followed by Qatar then Morocco.

Jamaica will be coached by Merron Gordon in the interim as Paul Hall, is unavailable due to coaching commitments with the U23 team QPR. Gordon will be assisted by Vassell Reynolds.
