Real Madrid coach Zidane furious with chirpy Ramos after latest red card

Published on: 22 August 2017

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is furious with Sergio Ramos over his dismissal at Deportivo La Coruna.

Zidane deemed the captain's red card unnecessary - the defender's 18th in his Real career.

Diario Sport says Zidane is fuming, with Ramos facing a suspension and his defensive options already limited.

Furthermore, it hasn't been lost on the coach that it's been Ramos who has urged president Florentino Perez not to add another defender to Zidane's squad, insisting current numbers are more than enough.

Despite their 100 per cent start to the season, Zidane is angry with his skipper for leaving them short for the coming games.
