Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos says he owes his success to coach Zinedine Zidane.
Kroos has won consecutive Champions League titles under the Frenchman.
"In the first place, Zidane gave me a lot of confidence," he said in an interview for German Football Federation magazine.
"In the two years that we have been together, he has used me in almost every game, especially in all the important ones.
"He knows that he can always count on me and that I will always try to do my best to create a great team spirit.
"We have a good relationship and having a good relationship with the coach is important for every player."
