Real Madrid target De Gea leaning towards Man Utd stay

David de Gea will not agitate for a move away from Manchester United this summer.

Real Madrid are expected to step up their pursuit of the Spain goalkeeper after Saturday's Champions League final triumph.

However, the Sunday Mirror says De Gea has no interest in going to war with his club after seeing a £29 million switch to Madrid collapse at the 11th hour two years ago.

Real failed to register the relevant documentation on time – and a devastated De Gea signed a new four-year deal.

The La Liga giants have made landing Spain's No 1 a priority.

But they will have to make United a realistic offer if they are to draw the Manchester club into negotiations.
