Ghana U17 coach Paa Kwasi Fabin says his side should have recorded a double figure score line in their game against Burkina Faso. The Black Starlets came from a goal down to beat their counterparts from Burkina Faso 5-1 at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday in their first leg second round African Youth Qualifier.

A brace from captain Eric Ayiah and goals from Nathaniel Opoku, Isaac Antah and Gideon Acquah sealed the comprehensive victory ahead of the second leg.

“Great game from my boys but I feel we could have scored more goals considering the chances that came our way,” said coach Paa Kwasi Fabin

“The boys have done well and must be congratulated but there is more to be done, we have to ensure we go into the second leg and win as well to ensure our qualification to the next stage of the qualifiers.

“We really have to work hard, in terms of our conversion rate- and we will be good.”

The Black Starlets will travel to Burkina Faso for the second leg which will be played on August 20, 2016.
