Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Owusu Sarkodie has earned a call up to the Black Stars according to reports.
The 20-year-old, who plays as a defensive midfielder, has been impressive this season for the Porcupine Warriors.
His performances has helped the club to 1st on the log and Akonnor has been impressed according to the report.
He will hope to earn the chance to make his debut and win the hearts of teammates and the technical team.
He joined Kotoko from Division One League side Nkoranza Warriors.
