Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boateng was on target on Friday evening but unfortunately suffered a 3-1 defeat with his Alcorcon side at the hands of Real Oviedo in the Spanish Segunda.
In a match week 19 fixture played at the Santo Domingo, the host was stunned just 11 minutes into the match when Borja Sanchez found the back of the net. Shortly after, Edgar Barcenas scored to give Real Oviedo a two-goal cushion.
Later in the half, Richard Boateng pulled one back for his side to send them into the break with something to fight for.
Alcorcon could however not put up the desire performance in the second half and conceded another goal in the second half resulting in their 3-1 defeat.
Ghana’s Richard Boateng lasted 60 minutes of the match before he was replaced by Daniel Romera.
