Roll back the years: Sampdoria pulls up Afriyie Acquah's 2015 goal against Udinese

Italian top-flight side Sampdoria decided to roll back the years with a video of Afriyie Acquah scoring against Udinese in 2015. 

The central midfielder, who currently plays for Turkish side Yeni Malatyasapor, beat his markers with a smart run into the channel. The ball played through to him was a perfect one and the 29-year-old made no mistake with the finish.

Acquah joined Sampdoria in the 2015 winter transfer window and played well for the side, exciting fans with his tough tackling and occasional goals. He later moved to TSG Hoffenheim in Germany. After that, he returned Italy to feature for Torino and Empoli before moving to his current team, Malatyaspor.

His contract is set to end in two months and clubs are circling and waiting for him to become a free agent. He last played for the Black Stars in 2021 during an AFCON qualifiers game against South Africa.
