Samaria Ladies FC rebrands now known as Thunder Queens FC

Ghana Women’s Premier League side Samaria Ladies FC has rebranded and they are now known as Thunder Queens FC.

What prompted this rebrand is due to co-owner Apostle Sammy Adamaley parting ways with the Ghana Women’s Premier League side.

The other co-owner Anas Seidu Thunder now fully controlling the affairs of the club has changed the club's name and logo.

Speaking in an interview about the new developments Anas Seidu said

“The club has to become fierce and improve on our performance in the league and FA Cup,"

"We have to be a force to reckon with. Our name and performance must send shivers down our opponents’ spine hence the name Thunder Queens,"

We will however continue to hunt for and develop talents as we have done in the past by discovering Grace Animah, Philicity Asuako, Gladys Amfobea, Grace Baah, Leticia Adjei and Gifty Achanpong,” he concluded.
