Samuel Boadu: Hearts of Oak coach eyes win against Legon Cities FC in next league match

Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has set his sight on guiding the team to defeat Legon Cities FC next week Wednesday, June 23, 2021, to keep hopes of winning the Ghana Premier League title alive.

The Phobians on Sunday night played outstandingly well and as a result thumped Medeama SC 2-0 on Matchday 29 of the league campaign.

Set to return to action in midweek, Hearts of Oak will take on Legon Cities FC in Wednesday in the hat will be a Matchday 30 fixture.

Speaking ahead of the game, coach Samuel Boadu says they will go into the game with the aim to win.

“As I said earlier, Hearts of Oak is playing match after match, now we have finished with this [Hearts vs Medeama] match, it’s history, we have to throw it back.

“We have to concentrate on the next match we are going to play and we take match after match and we believe that definitely, we are going to take that three maximum points as well," coach Samuel Boadu said after the Medeama SC game.

Hearts currently leads the league table with 53 points and on course to pushing for the league title at the end of the season.
