Sarkodie congratulates Kingsley Fobi on Club Recreativo Granada move

One of Ghana’s favourite rappers, Sarkodie, has taken to social media to congratulate Kingsley Fobi after he completed his move to Club Recreativo Granada on Wednesday.

Fobi has put pen to paper on a two-year loan deal with an option to extend after successful negotiations.

He spent last season on loan at CD Badajoz in the Segunda Division, where he made 11 appearances, scored two goals, and provided one assist.

Fobi began his career at the Right To Dream Academy in Ghana. From there he went to the lower categories of Granada CF, where he played only one season.

In the past three seasons, he has featured for SD Formentera, CD Ibiza, and Badajoz, all of them in Second Division B, making 58 appearances, scoring three goals, and registering one assist for a total of 3,701 minutes.

The 21-year-old was a member of the Black Satellites team that participated at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2015 in New Zealand and also the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt last year.
