German Bundesliga outfit, Schalke 04 is seriously considering recalling Bernard Tekpetey from his Ludogorets loan spell after just playing one season in Bulgaria.

The forward last summer secured a two-year loan deal with the Bulgarian top-flight side to provide a squad boost for the team.

In a season where the former Ghana U-23 star excelled and played a key role for Ludogorets, he has managed to help the team to be crowned champions of the Bulgaria Professional League.

Although he still has one year on his contract with Ludogorets, Bernard Tekpetey looks set to return to Germany.

His parent club, Schalke 04 have been relegated from the German Bundesliga and are now looking at reinforcing to have the chance to make a return next season.

As a result, officials of the club have decided that recalling the Ghanaian from the loan spell will be a good decision.

They are hence reportedly in talks with officials of Ludogorets to have the loan deal terminated.
