Italian Serie A giants, SSC Napoli are currently in Ghana to scout attacker, Joseph Paintsil, the local media have reported.
Paintsil is currently at the camp of the Black Stars for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers against Angola.
The 24-year-old has been on an impressive form for Belgian topflight side, KRC Genk
Paintsil has netted 13 and provided 12 assists in 29 outings in all competitions in the ongoing season.
His impressive and blistering form earned him a call-up this time for the doubleheader.
Despite his blistering form, Paintsil was left out of Black Stars' squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar but was invited by Chris Hughton for the games.
However, he is expected to walk into the squad for today's game against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The game is scheduled for 1600GMT.
Ghana will travel to Luanda on March 27 for the return leg.
