With the 2018/19 Serie A season almost a third of the way through, more or less every side has posted increases int he number of season tickets sold for the current campaign.
Overall, Serie A saw a large rise in the amount of season tickets sold, with only five teams seeing a decrease in sales compared to last year – Chievo, Genoa, Sampdoria, Torino and Udinese. The Granata saw the largest decrease having sold 1,578 fewer season tickets than last year.
Many teams saw increases of over 1,000 season tickets compared to last season – Atalanta, Empoli, Fiorentina, Frosinone, Inter, Lazio and Parma. The Ducali saw the largest increase, 2,166 more tickets sold, after securing their place back in Serie A and becoming the first Italian team to win promotion in three successive seasons.
The team with the highest season ticket sales is Inter with around 38,000 sold, while Sassuolo came in with the lowest total of just 5,312.
Official numbers for Lazio, AC Milan and Napoli were unavailable.
