African giants Simba SC are interested in the signing of striker Sogne Yacouba who recently parted ways with Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The Burkina Faso forward spent two years as a Porcupine Warrior but at the end of his contract he was cut loose on the back of failed contract extension talks.

Now a free agent, he has attracted interest from Simba SC who believe Sogne Yacouba will be a good addition to their squad.

According to Chief Executive Officer of Simba SC, Senzo Mazingisa the club started negotiations but have been forced to put things on hold.

“The player has approached us with so many agents each claiming he is the only agent and that is why we have put a stop in our negotiations,” Mazingisa told Mwanaspoti.

It is understood that the agents issues are being sorted and talks between the club and the attacker will in the coming days continue.
