Southampton supporters on social media were fumed with Kevin Danso for his poor performance against Bournemouth on Friday .
The Saints were defeated 3-1 at St Mary’s by Bournemouth in the Premier League dropping them down to 11th on the table.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s team were blown away by their opponents in the first-half, who scored through Nathan Ake and Harry Wilson.
Southampton got back into the game in the second half with James Ward-Prowse’s penalty and pushed for another, but Callum Wilson added a third for the visitors in stoppage time.
Danso had an ugly night as he started against Bournemouth and was lasted 45 minutes.
The 21-year-old started in the right-back slot and was caught out of position several times, including for a Josh King goal that was fortunate ruled out by VAR.
He was out jumped from a corner by Ake for his goal and it’s never a good sign when a player lasts just 45 minutes.
Danso only joined Southampton in the summer and has not enjoyed his new full-back position as compared to his last season at ccenter-back for Augsburg which looks like his favoured position.
