"We could've and should've done more, but Verona deserve credit." Luciano Spalletti gave his thoughts after his Napoli side drew 1-1 with Verona at home.
"We were lacking that certain something, and we came up short in terms of our focus. It's difficult to face teams like Verona. We needed to have attacked with greater pace and have been better in one-on-ones.
"I'm sorry for the fans that we didn't win, but it's not easy to win every match. Football matches are determined by how teams perform. We've always had a lot to offer but we were lacking something this evening. Having said that, the team was well-organised throughout.
"We need to accept the fact that we've drawn this match but we shouldn't forget that we've got a competitive squad, that we're a high-profile club, and that we've got everything it takes to be in with a shout of winning the title until the very end."
