Max Meyer has rejected a new contract offer from Schalke.
The German youngster is about to enter the final year of his S04 deal after choosing to turn down their new proposal.
Sky Deutschland says a move to England could be on for Meyer, who has been a long-term target for Tottenham and Liverpool.
Schalke now face the prospect of having to cash in on the midfielder this summer.
Meyer will be part of Germany's squad for the U21 Euros.
