Star Madrid full back, Jeff Tierro, has stated that his team will pull off a surprise in the Division One League this season.
Last season, the team placed fourth before the league was abruptly cancelled.
It has taken players several months to prepare for a new season which begins during the weekend.
When asked about the goals of Star Madrid, Tierro stated that we should expect a surprise.
"We don’t talk much. Last season some opponents were making the 'operation premier league' campaign and so on but during the league, we beat those clubs," he stated in an exclusive interview with footballghana.com.
"We were having two outstanding matches before the league cancelles but we were fourth on the table. I will not talk much we are prepared and we will pull out surprise this year too."
Star Madrid will start their campaign on Wednesday.
