Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is closing on a mystery winger signing.
The Sentinel says club sources say the new winger Stoke have targeted can also play through the middle and will arrive with plenty of experience to try and boost Hughes's options following Marko Arnautovic's recent £25m departure to West Ham.
Hughes has been anxious to plug the considerable gap left by Arnautovic's exit and sees the new recruit as a viable alternative.
He has played his football in a competitive environment on the continent for several years and is considered both powerful enough and quick enough to cope with the physical demands of the Premier League.
