Ghana striker, Caleb Ekuban has been named in the 2020-21 Turkish Super Lig Team-Of-The-Year following his explosive outings.
The 27-year-old managed to score 11 goals and provided four assists in 33 appearances in all competitions for the Red and Blue in the just ended 2020/21 campaign.
Ekuban was his team’s second top goalscorer this campaign as he helped them to book qualification into next season’s UEFA Europa League competition.
Ekuban scored on the last day of the season match at home against Genclerbirligi on Saturday evening.
Latching onto a pass from Anastasios Bakasetas in the 45th minute, the Black Stars asset fired home a brilliant strike to shoot the home team into a deserved lead before the break.
He has been linked to several clubs in Europe following his impressive season with Trabzonspor.
Trabzonspor finished the campaign on the 4th position with 71 points.
Ekuban is expected to make Ghana's squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations [Afcon] scheduled to be kick off in Cameroon next year January.
