Ghanaian forward Elvis Manu climbed off the bench to score for his Ludogorets outfit on Saturday when they staged a comeback to defeat Lokomotiv Plovdiv 3-1.

The two clubs were in action today for a date on Matchday 5 of the ongoing 2020/2021 Bulgarian top-flight league.

Following a goalless first half, Lokomotiv Plovdiv returned from the break to take the lead on the 52nd minute courtesy a strike from Birsent Karagaren.

Now trailing, the manager of Ludogorets introduced striker Elvis Manu four minutes later to replace Mavis Tchibota.

The experienced attacker displayed impressive form and helped his side to successfully stage a comeback.

First, Dominik Yankov found the back of the net to restore parity for Ludogorets on the 62nd minute before Alex Santana added a second on the 79th minute.

Now in the lead, the home team stayed composed and wrapped up the win with an insurance goal scored by summer signing Elvis Manu.

The forward has only made 2 appearances for his club this season but looks to be gradually making a claim for a spot on the starting eleven.
