The International Transfer Certificate of former Inter Milan player Sulley Muntari has arrived and a move to Hearts of Oak could now be on the cards, footballghana.com sources have discovered.
The 35 year old last played for Spanish second division side Albacete from February 2019 to July 2019. He is now without a club.
During his time as a free agent, he trained with the Hearts of Oak squad, leading to reports that he may be interested in joined the Accra-based outfit.
A board member of Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe fueled the reports with a statement saying that a jersey has been reserved for the player if he wishes to join the club. Now that his ITC has arrived, that move could happen.
Sulley featured for the likes of Udinese, Pescara, AC Milan and Portsmouth in his career. He also managed to clinch the Champions League in 2010 with Inter Milan.
