Tamale City announce the appointment of Mohammed Bashar as new head coach

Ghana Premier League side, Tamale City Football Club have appointed a new head coach with three matches left for the 2022/23 football season to end.

In an official club statement on Friday, May 26, the club said it has secured the services of coach Mohammed Bashar as the new head coach.

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Coach Mohammed Bashar Ogba as our new head coach.

“Our new Gaffer arrives following stints in Niger where he managed 2 premiership clubs, AS Sonidep and Sahel Sporting Club,” parts of the club statement said.

During his stints with A Sonidep and Sahel SC, Coach Mohammed Bashar who is a CAF License A holder managed to steer both clubs to qualify for the CAF Champions League.

In the past, he worked with some local clubs including Inter Allies FC, Nzema Kotoko FC as well as Steadfast FC.
