Charles Kwadjo Ntim has urged Hearts of Oak supporters to rally behind Coach Sergio Daniel Traguil as pressure continue to mount on the team after their home draw over the weekend.

Hearts of Oak have struggled to impress at the Accra sports stadium this season and the trend continued when they failed to pick maximum points against Techiman City FC on Saturday, which has triggered calls from supporters for the sacking of Sergio Traguil and be replace by assistant coach Yaw Preko.

However, President of Techiman City, Charles Kwadjo Ntim popularly in football fraternity as Micky Charles believes Hearts of Oak will be making a grave mistake if they get rid of the Portuguese tactician Sergio Traguil because of the amendement he witnessed from the team on Saturday compared to his predecessor Kenichi Yatsuhashi’s tenure when the two sides met at the Nana Ameyaw Park in the first round.

“I’ll plead with the supporters of Hearts to be a little patient with their coach. I’m amazed at the calls from the supporters to sack him, which in my opinion he’s a very good coach on the evidence of what I saw on Saturday. I think they are too much enthused with their former coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, who I think didn’t do anything. If they watched the game we played against them at Techiman, then they’d have killed him,” he told Happy FM.

“I remember when they played us at Techiman, they didn’t play anything but in the end they got a draw. They should be happy with the progress the team is making under this coach, just that they’re not picking the points they wish, but with time I think they will come good based on what I witnessed.”

“It sometimes happens in football, where a team will play so well but could not finish a game. Prime example is our game against Asante Kotoko, where they had all the possession, but the game ended in a draw and so I’ll urge Hearts of Oak supporters to be patient with him.”

Hearts of Oak will play as guests to Wa All stars in top of the table clash on match day 25 of the Ghana Premier League.
