Former Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong says the experience Prosper Narteh Ogum gathered with the Black Galaxies will help him in his second stint with the Porcupine Warriors.
The former West Africa Football Academy head coach was part of the local national team when they participated in the 2023 Championship of African Nations tournament in Algeria.
The team however failed in the quarterfinal after being knocked out by Niger. But Amos Frimpong believes being the assistant coach at the tournament will help Ogum's nsecond stint at Asante Kotoko.
"This will be a very good challenge for him, and I think the experience he has also gathered at the national side [Black Galaxies], will help him.”
“With all this, I think he is going to guide Asante Kotoko to more trophies.”
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has annulled all sanctions imposed on them by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.
The two sides played out a 7-0 match in favour of Ashantigold at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
Both teams were expelled from the Ghana Premier League and demoted to the Division Two League while some players were banned for various time lengths.
