In a fiercely contested Ghana Premier League match during week 2, Nsoatreman coach Maxwell Konadu admitted that a crucial red card early in the game significantly altered the course of their face-off against heavyweights Hearts of Oak.
The dismissal proved to be a pivotal moment, forcing Konadu's team to battle against the odds in what turned out to be a grueling encounter.
Ramos Kashala Wanet scored the only goal in the game for the Phobians in the 4th minute. Philip Ofori of Nsoatreman was sent off for violent conduct in the 34th minute.
"It was a good game very difficult one of course because we had a red card in the early minutes that made the game extremely difficult for us," he said after the game.
"We manage to end the first half we brought in fresh legs to come and augment the squad but we couldn't equalize before the end of the game," he added.
