There is no sponsorship deal between GFA and Zylofon Cash- Lucy Quist

Published on: 04 February 2019

Mrs Lucy Quist, a member of the Ghana FA Normalization Committee, has disclosed that there is no deal between Zylophone Cash and the Ghana Football Association(GFA).

On April 2018, the Chief Executive Officer of Zylophone Media, Nana Appiah Mensah confirmed a sponsorship deal with the Ghana Football Association, taking mileage over the Ghana Premier League(GPL). The deal was worth $10m for a period of five years.

However, Lucy Quist has stated emphatically that the deal between the aforementioned parties ended when the FA stopped its work.

Fast forward, the Ghana Football Association got closed down in the aftermath the airing of Anas Aremeyaw Anas documentary video dubbed 'number 12' in June which had some football officials captured in a bribery scandal.

"We have seen the Zylophone cash contract for the Ghana Premier League."

"There is no sponsorship deal. Zylofon Cash doesn't exist. There's no money coming in from there," Lucy Quist told Joy Sports Morning Show.

"When the Ghana Football Association stopped, everything also stopped".

"The agenda now is re-engagement".
