Swansea City manager Steve Cooper has shared that Ghanaian international Andre Dede Ayew is one of many players in the English Championship that will attract interest from English Premier League clubs in the next transfer window.

The Black Stars forward has been phenomenal since the start of the 2019/2020 season and continues to excel on every matchday.

Having established himself as one of the best players for Swansea City as well as in the Division, he is thought to have attracted interested from some clubs all over Europe.

Reacting to whether there could be interest from English Premier League clubs for Ayew, Swansea Manager Steve Cooper has noted that he has no doubt.

"He is probably not the only player there will be interest in, whether it's now or for the future.

"This league has lots of players who could play in the league above and Andre will be in that category”, the gaffer said.

He continued, "But there is no news on any interest and I hope that continues. I speak to Andre a lot and I know he is happy with what we are doing."

"He has been brilliant in every way, shape and form.

"We know he has the ability - he can be as good as anybody in the league and play at a higher level.

"But the fact he is showing the commitment and work-rate that he is, I think is rubbing off on everybody.

"It certainly is motivating me to see a player like that so committed to what we are doing.

"I am sure the questions are going to come up in January about staying and going but you can see he is player who is really enjoying what we are doing”.

Andre Ayew has so far scored seven goals in all competitions for Swansea City and has been named as the club’s deputy captain.
