Thirteen players present at Black Stars final training in Accra

The Black Stars of Ghana held their final training in Accra ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

 

Captain Asamoah Gyan joined the team at training on Saturday after arriving in the country this afternoon from U A E.

 

Meanwhile the local players in the team have been released to join their clubs for the Ghana Premier League games for the weekend. However they are expected to rejoin the team after the weekend games.

 

The team made up of mostly foreign based players includes the Ayew brothers, Frank Acheampong, Majeed Waris, Yaw Yeboah, Daniel Amartey and John Boye.

 

The rest of the players present are Rashid Sumaila, new boys Agbenyenu Lumor and Thomas Agyepong, Captain Asamoah Gyan and Afriyie Acquah.

 

The team will leave for Kumasi tomorrow to continue with their preparations for the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia.
