Thomas Partey could be available for Arsenal's game against Leicester City - Mikel Arteta

Arsenal's Thomas Partey could be back in action in their game against Leicester City in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Because of a thigh injury he suffered in training, the midfielder was forced to miss their most recent matches against Aston Villa and Manchester City.

The performance of Partey in training will determine if he is available for the forthcoming game, according to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

"He hasn't trained much but it looks like he could be available. Let's see how he trains today. He's a really important player for us that we missed in the last few games," Arteta said.

Partey's return would be a welcome boost for Arsenal as they look to maintain their position at the top of the league. Leicester City, who are currently ranked 14th, have won their last two games, and will pose a challenge for Arsenal.

The Gunners will need all their key players on the pitch to secure a victory against the Foxes. Partey's presence in midfield will be crucial for Arsenal, as he brings a balance of defensive and attacking qualities to the team.

Arsenal and Leicester City will face off on Saturday, February 25 at 15:00 GMT.
