Mikel Arteta spoke to the media before Arsenal's game against Watford, and the Arsenal manager commended Thomas Partey.
Partey has missed 21 games due to injury since joining Arsenal just 17 months ago. That's astonishing given that he only missed six games in his whole career before coming to the Emirates due to fitness difficulties.
In his news conference today, Arteta was asked about it, and the Arsenal manager, shockingly, said that Partey scored stunners all the time in training.
“He is practising and some of the goals he scores in training, you would be amazed! You won’t believe me probably, so you will have to see one of those soon going into the net.” he told Arsenal website.
Arsenal plays Watford on Sunday, and Partey, who has been excellent recently, is very certain to start again.
