As the anticipation builds for the crucial face-off between Ghana's Black Princesses and Senegal in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers, Coach Yussif Basigi displays confidence.

Speaking ahead of the much-anticipated clash, Basigi assured fans and stakeholders that the team is in top form and, most importantly, free from injuries.

"Our preparation is ongoing well. The training has been good because the players responded very well to our team shaping so I think we are on course," Basigi declared.

"We don’t have any injury concerns especially those who will be in the match day squad. The medical team has assured that us everyone is fine," he added.

The Black Princesses, having secured a convincing 2-0 victory in the first leg, are eager to maintain their winning streak and clinch a spot in the prestigious FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

Talented attacker Tracy Twum emerged as the star of the first encounter, netting both goals against Senegal. Riding high on this success, the Black Princesses are poised for a compelling performance on their home turf at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

A win on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 4:00 pm, will not only cement their dominance over Senegal but also secure their seventh consecutive appearance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
