Ghana Premier League side, King Faisal have appointed coach Jimmy Cobblah as the new head coach of the team.

The club earlier today announced that it has parted ways with head coach Branko Bozovic and his assistant Ivica Cvetanovski.

Having made several consultations, the Kumasi-based club has now appointed Coach Jimmy Cobblah to replace the departing Serbian tactician.

Speaking to Happy FM in an interview, King Faisal owner Alhaji Grusah explained the circumstances that led to the exit of coach Branko Bozovic.

"The coach helped us escape relegation but this season after 3 games without good results, he told us he can't continue. Despite everything he improved Enoch Morrison's striking abilities,” the King Faisal bankroller said.

Following the appointment of coach Jimmy Cobblah, he goes to work immediately. He takes charge of a team that is winless in the three Ghana Premier League games played in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

Courtesy of that poor run, the club sits troubled at the bottom of the league table.
