Turkish Super Lig: Ghana defender Joseph Attamah targets mid-table finish with loan club Rizespor

Ghanaian international, Joseph Attamah Larweh has revealed that it is his aim to help his Çaykur Rizespor side secure a mid-table finish at the end of the ongoing 2019/2020 Turkish Super Lig.

The center-back is currently on a season-long loan from İstanbul Başakşehir to ensure he gets to enjoy regular playing time.

He has featured in five matches for the club this season, helping them to bag 8 points after match week 5 which leaves them 6th on the League standings.

Speaking in a recent interview, Joseph Attamah has noted, “We want to move this team to the place it deserves at the end of the league”.

The 25-year-old added, “We only got one point from these two games, but that doesn’t mean we lost everything. There are more games ahead: As players, we will try to do more than we have. We want to move this team to the place it deserves at the end of the league”.

Attamah has cemented a place in Rizespor’s team and will be key to their success in what will be a very long and challenging season.
