U-23 Afcon: Ghana skipper Yaw Yeboah in buoyant mood ahead of Egypt clash

Black Meteors captain Yaw Yeboah  is highly optimistic about his side's chances ahead of their Group A second game against host nation Egypt on Monday.

Ghana were held to a 1-1 draw by Cameroon whilst Egypt defeated beat Mali 1-0 in match day one.

Each team need a win to enhance their chances of reaching the next stage of the competition.

Speaking ahead of the crucial game, the 22-year-old revealed that they are now abreast with the atmosphere after the game with Cameroon and will go all out against Egypt.

"We are now used to the ball and used to the pitch and the environment," Yeboah told Ghanafa.org

"We know winning in the next match could propel us to the next and nothing will stop us from going for the win."

Yeboah was substituted in the second-half after he had a knock but he has declared himself fit for the game.

“I had a knock in the second half which really affected my play and I had to come out of the game for treatment and to ensure that I get fit for our next crucial games,” he revealed.
