U23 AFCON: Kurt Okraku extends best wishes to Black Meteors ahead of start of tournament

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has wished the Black Meteors the best of luck at the 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The Ghana FA capo extended his goodwill message to the Ghana U23 national team in his capacity as President of West Africa Zone B.

As President of WAFU Zone B, Kurt Okraku says his wish is that Ghana and Niger who are representing the zone will do well at the U23 AFCON.

The U23 AFCON tournament is set to kick off in Morocco on Saturday, June 24.

For Ghana, the Black Meteors are in Group A and will face off with host nation Morocco as well as Guinea and Congo.

Ghana’s first match at the tournament will be played on Sunday, June 25, against Congo.

The Black Meteors are hoping to win the U23 AFCON and also secure qualification for the 2024 Olympic Games which will be held in Paris, France.
