Venomous Vipers accident forces GFA to postpone clash with King Faisal

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced postponing the Division One League game between Venomous Vipers and King Faisal.

This is because the Cape Coast based club were involved in an accident when they were travelling to Kumasi for the clash agains the In Sha Allah lads.

King Faisal were scheduled to host Venomous Vipers in the first game of the 2023/24 Division One League on Sunday at the Ejisu Okese Park.

The Access Bank Division League Matchweek One match between King Faisal FC and Venomous Vipers has been postponed indefinitely.

This decision was taken after Venomous Vipers suffered a road accident on their way to Ejisu to honour the match.

Players and officials of Vipers FC are currently undergoing medical treatment.

The leadership of the Ghana Football Association has been in contact with the club. All stakeholders have been duly informed about the postponement of the match.

At this moment, the welfare of the players and officials of the team is our primary concern, and the football family wishes them a speedy recovery.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the club at this moment.
