Dr. Alhaji Bawumia, Ghana's Vice President, has awarded Hasaacas Ladies Gh50,000 for winning the WAFU Cup.
The Hasaacas Ladies won the first WAFU Cup, which was contested in Abidjan last month.
In the final, the defending Ghana Women's Premier League winners defeated Rivers Angels 3:1 to win the colossal trophy.
On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, the club awarded the trophy to the Vice President for his support of the squad.
Dr. Bawumia has dashed the team Gh50,000.00 to be split among the playing body, technical bench, and others for the success as a symbol of his delight for the club for winning the WAFU Cup.
The trophy was presented to the Vice President for his support of the team on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
As a mark of his joy for the club for winning the WAFU Cup, Dr. Bawumia has given the team Gh50,000.00 to be shared among the playing body, technical bench, and others.
