Al-Hilal new signing Imoro Ibrahim returned to Ghana to bid farewell to Asante Kotoko after completing his move in a fee worth around $150,000.

Ibrahim joined the club on a five-year deal after passing his medicals on Monday.

The 22-year-old played a key role for the Porcupine Warriors last season as they clinched their 24th Ghana Premier League title.

He made 28 appearances, scored two goals and provided eight assists in the process.

"Imoro Ibrahim has today completed a permanent transfer to Al Hilal of Sudan, ending his stay with us."

"Everyone at Asante Kotoko would like to thank Imoro for his contribution to our success and wish him the very best," the club statement from Asante Kotoko said.

Commenting on that post on twitter, the highly-rated left-back said "Thank you for everything."

Al-Hilal won the 2021/2022 Sudan Premier League title with 77 points and will participate in next season's CAF Champions League.
