VIDEO: AshantiGold arrive in Morocco ahead of RS Berkane showdown

AshantiGold SC have touched down in Morocco ahead of the second leg of the 2019/2020 Total CAF Confederations Cup game with R.S Berkane.

The team left Kotoka International Airport on Wednesday through Egypt Air, and landed in Cairo around 22:00 Egyptian Time, before departing for Cassablanca (Morroco) this morning.

The Miners are currently en route to the city of Berkane where they will be playing against last year’s runners up on Saturday, 28th September, 2019 (20:00 GMT) at the Stade Municipal Stadium.

Coach Ricardo Da Rocha named an eighteen man squad comprising of notables Appiah Maccarthy, Shafiu Mumuni, James Akaminko, and Latif Anabila who were with the Black Stars B. The Miners left Accra with a 30 man contingent.
