Ghana international defender Kasim Nuhu scored for Fortuna Düsseldorf as they progressed to the next stage of the DFB Pokal with 2-1 win over Erzgebirge Aue on Wednesday evening.
Fortuna Düsseldorf came from one-goal down to beat FC Erzgebirge Aue at the Merkur Spiel-Arena.
FC Erzgebirge Aue took the lead in the 12th minute courtesy Florian Kruger strike before Rouwen Hennings bagged the equaliser in the 45th minute via a spot-kick.
Adams, who joined the club from TSG Hoffenhiem scored the match-winner for the Red and White lads with 15 minutes left to play in regulation time.
The 24-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game with scintillating performance.
His compatriot Nana Ampomah was introduced after first-half with Bernard Tekpetey an unused substitute.
Kassim has made six appearances and scored two goals for Fortuna Düsseldorf in all competitions this season.
