Asante Kotoko new signing, Rashid Nortey has commenced training with his teammates at the cub.
The experienced midfielder on Wednesday completed a move to the Porcupine Warriors on a free transfer after ending his six-year stay with Medeama SC in Tarkwa.
“Midfielder Rashid Nortey has signed for Asante Kotoko as a free player.
“Rashid has penned two and a half-deal after running down his contract with Medeama SC.
“Rashid comes with enormous quality and experience and will only improve our team to help us achieve our targets this season.
“We welcome our new signing and wish him all the best,” an official club statement from Asante Kotoko said.
Today, Rashid Nortey has had his first training session with his new teammates as the club prepares for MTN FA Cup action during the weekend.
