Ghanaian international, Enock Kwateng put in a good shift on Sunday when his Girondins de Bordeaux outfit suffered a 5-3 defeat at the hands of FC Nantes.
The defender started for his team in the away match against the opponent in the ongoing French Ligue 1 campaign.
On the matchday, M’Baye Niang scored to give Girondins de Bordeaux the lead in the 6th minute. Later in the 18th minute, a strike from Javairo Dilrosun gave the hosts a 2-goal advantage.
However, courtesy of goals from Kalifa Coulibaly and Ricardo Mangas [own goal], Nantes drew level under 10 minutes into the second half.
Shortly after, Enock Kwateng got his name on the scoresheet to restore the lead for Bordeaux.
Unfortunately, that would not be the rest of the action. Impressive final minutes showing from FC Nantes saw the team scoring three additional goals to secure a 5-3 win at the end of the 90 minutes thanks to the brilliance of Nigeria winger Moses Simon and Ghana forward Osman Bukari.
