Wa All Stars owner John Paintsil has confirmed his outfit is in talks with Ghanaian goalkeeper Fatau Dauda ahead of the start of the new season in December.

Paintsil, who also doubles as the coach of the side revealed that the former Ghana Premier League champions are keen on the experienced goalkeeper though no agreement has been reached yet.

"We are still in talks with Fatawu Dauda, we want to have him. If we finish the deal, it will be announced." Paintsil told reporters after the goalless draw with Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

"Our doors are still opened for any player who wants to join us," he added.

Paintsil bought Wa All Stars from former Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi few months ago.

The former Ghana international has been preparing the team ahead of the new campaign for sometime now and his appointment comes as no surprise.

The former Fulham right-back was previously the assistant coach of PSL side Kaizer Chiefs.

He also previously played for Berekum Arsenal, Liberty Professionals, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Tel Aviv, West Ham United, Fulham, Leicester City, Santos and Maritzburg United.
