Wa All Stars loanee Joseph Adjei stars for South African league leaders

Cape Town City FC's Ghanaian import, Joseph Adjei, excelled for the PSL side as they opened up a four point lead at the top of the log.

The former Wa All Stars Centre back extended his fine form for the South African top flight newbies in a five goal thriller.

The 21 year old imposing central defender guarded his shot stopper all day with an eagle eye and could do little to prevent the host from scoring twice in a goal mouth melee.

The former Ghana Youth International, who joined Cape Town City on a season long loan deal from Ghana Premier league champions, Wa All Stars FC , endured a slow start to life in the PSL but has since blossom into a key pillar in the set up of the league leaders.

Initial cameo appearances for the newbies convinced the head coach of the side to hand Joseph a starting spot in the Telecom Knock out semis and he has since refused to go back to the bench.

A brace from Lebogang Manyama added to a solitary strike from Roland Putsche in a 2-3 away triumph for Cape Town City at the expense of Bidvest Wits.
